A growing number of Blu-ray releases include Bonus View picture-in-picture features, which the DVD-1800BD supports. For DVD viewing, the player features precision deinterlacing and upconversion, allowing up to 1080p high resolution via HDMI. For home-made videos on DVD and CD, the DVD-1800BD supports the latest Divx Version 6 codec, and the DVD-1800BD also features a front panel SD card slot for playback of WMA and MP3 music files as well as JPG picture files.
